2LG - Bluebell walk at Perry Wood

On our walk through the woods we were spotting all the different wild flowers, these are called Lesser Celandine.

There were lots and lots of bluebells all around.

Wood anemone - they were very pretty.

Dandelions - we were looking for ones in seed as we are going to be collecting seeds this term.

What a lovely view.

Mud Painting

Mixing the 'paint'.

It took ages to build the tower high enough to reach the tree, but he did it!

Using dandelions to see if we can make yellow paint.

Mud painting is great fun but can be a little messy!

Fence building

Year 1 have been busy making a new boundary fence in the forest school area.

It's tricky weaving the long willow whips in and out.

Jack and Miss Walker worked really hard on the fence all afternoon.

We had been busy in Perry Wood drawing the bluebells and had to climb a great big hill to get back!
